ASSET INSPECTIONS & CONDITION MONITORING
Asset inspection enhances, above other things, networks reliability and sustainability
It also improves safety and maintenance planning.
1. Ground line and below ground condition assessment of wood poles.
2. Inspection of the top face of crossarms, conductors and pole top attachments using camera technology.
3. Visual inspection and thermographic imaging of pole mounted switches.
4. Treatment for internal rot and termites and corrosion.
5. Minor maintenance including replacing earth and stay guards.
6. Recording GPS Coordinates, digital photographs of defects.
7. Capture of required asset data utilizing handheld PDAs for download to a central database. As a team leader my other duties entails.
Put methodologies in place to enhance production at minimum cost but not compromising quality.
